Hello, I'm Logasundari from the Auroville Bioregion. With a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) and currently pursuing my Master’s in Human Resource Management, I initially joined Yuvabe with just a basic grasp of digital marketing. What began as a modest start has evolved into a journey of significant personal and professional growth. Here’s a glimpse into my transformation and the incredible experiences I've had along the way.

From Hesitant Beginnings to Confident Leadership

Joining Yuvabe felt like stepping into a new world. At that time, my knowledge of digital marketing was minimal. Reflecting on it now, I chuckle at the thought of hiring someone with such limited experience, but Sriman saw potential in me. Despite my introverted nature and reluctance to post on social media, I found myself managing our social media channels, with my first project being social media management for Yuvabe.

Initially, I was shy and hesitant to ask for help, but gradually, I stepped out of my comfort zone. I began absorbing knowledge from my colleagues and, over time, developed a skill set largely through self-learning. In just a year and a half, a girl with minimal marketing experience rose to lead six different projects.

Overcoming Personal Challenges

One of the biggest challenges for me was interacting with people of different genders, especially in a predominantly male environment. Initially, it felt daunting, but Yuvabe proved to be a supportive space where I could freely express my opinions and share my thoughts. The encouragement and opportunities here have been invaluable, and I’m grateful for the space and time provided to grow and learn.

Memorable Projects and Learning Experiences

Among the many experiences at Yuvabe, Project 365 and the Auroville Marathon stand out. In Project 365, we posted content daily on Instagram and Facebook, along with publishing a blog. The daily routine of content creation and management was intense, but it taught me resilience and the ability to manage high-pressure tasks effectively. Krishna Mckenzie was pleased with my contributions, and that was a significant boost to my confidence.

The 14th Auroville Marathon was another highlight. I began by managing their social media and ended up overseeing the volunteer management for the entire event. Coordinating over 300 volunteers and promoting the event digitally with my team was challenging but immensely rewarding.

Embracing New Roles

One of my recent favourite roles has been participating in and facilitating the Bridge program, which aims to up-skill bio-region youth. Speaking for two hours with only a brief break was a new experience for me, but it has been incredibly educational and fulfilling.

Signing off

My journey at Yuvabe has been one of continuous learning and growth. The projects, challenges, and the team spirit have all contributed to my development. I have learned resilience, leadership, and the power of collaboration.

At Yuvabe, we’re not just doing our jobs; we’re making a meaningful impact. Each day is an opportunity to evolve, contribute, and strive towards becoming the best version of ourselves. I’m proud to be part of a team that values growth, learning, and making a difference.
